What is the difference between Shared and Single Rooms?
All our prices are based on Shared Accommodation. This is two people sharing a bedroom with two single beds (or one double bed if preferred) and one bathroom. Single Accommodation is a bedroom and bathroom to your self.

Can I stay extra days before or after the scheduled dates?
Yes. If the scheduled dates aren't enough of a break, or if you prefer a flight the night before the holiday begins, then let us know and we'll arrange a room for you in Quinta do Mar de Luz for the required Nights. This is especially nice after Boot Camp so you can relax after all that exercise and soak up some of the local sights.

Depending on season and room type, extra nights are €65-100 per night B&B.

Keep in mind that early arrivals and late departures do not include airport transfers, but there are a few options for varying budgets and we can assist you in making your own way to the Quinta. (If I don't fly on recommended flights, how do I get to the villa? below)

What airport do I fly into?
Faro (FAO), Algarve Portugal . Faro is serviced by most major European destinations.

How do I get the free airport transfer? What are the recommended Flights?
For each holiday there is one shuttle scheduled to leave Faro airport on the starting day of the holiday and one shuttle scheduled to leave Quinta do Mar da Luz on the last day of the holiday. Any flight that arrives before the designated time stated on the calendar listing of the holiday you've booked. If you arrive several hours before the scheduled shuttle, Faro airport has a few cafes where you can have tea or coffee and something small to eat while waiting for the transfer. Or you may wish to book a separate shuttle (See If I don't fly on recommended flights, how do I get to the villa? below).

If I don't fly on recommended flights, how do I get to the villa?
There are a few options available to make your own way to Quinta do Mar da Luz.

Taxi - €85-100 There are usually always taxis at Faro airport. It will be charged on the meter and takes just under an hour, depending on time of day and traffic.

Private Transfer - €70 (if you arrive later than 9pm ) If you would like us to organise a private transfer, we can. There will be someone waiting in the departure lounge of the airport waiting for you with a Free-range Holidays Sign or a sign with your name on it.

Shuttle Bus - €15-20 (recommended) There a few companies that run regular shuttles from Faro airport to various destinations throughout the Algarve . They will bring you to the reception of Quinta do Mar da Luz in about 90 minutes. You need to book them online at least 30 hours before your flight departs. The short answer is “Yes, within the same calendar year.” We understand that things happen and plans change. In nearly all cases we can accommodate you to transfer your deposit rather than lose it.
